Expectations
Here’s what you should expect from me.
The first thing you should know is that we practice the “Golden Rule” in this office, and treat every patient as we’d like to be treated.
When you arrive at our office as a new patient, you’ll notice we have a “No Wait” policy, and that Dr. Henderson will promptly welcome you. We respect your time, so you won’t have to sit twiddling your thumbs in our reception room hours. You’ll then sit down with the doctor and have a relaxed consultation. He’ll ask you questions about your health history, and then proceed with a careful examination. New patients often comment how Dr. Henderson’s examination was the most thorough one they’ve ever received!
Not everyone requires X-ray. If X-rays are needed for your case, these will be performed at the imaging center of your choice.
The doctor will then analyze and study your results and review these findings with you. Dr. Henderson likes to give his patients choices, so if he can help you, he’ll let you know what options are available, and then let you decide which course of action you’d like to take. If he does not feel that you’ll benefit from his style of care, he will inform you of this in advance, and refer you to an appropriate health care provider.
Dr. Henderson is trained in several different chiropractic approaches and will discuss those options with you BEFORE you begin care. While he does practice more traditional hands techniques, he also has “pop” free options available. He will never “twist, pop, or crack” you without warning or without your full consent. Your adjustment will be performed in a very comfortable, relaxing area, and will usually occur without discomfort. In fact, we even offer a “Pain-Free Adjustment Guarantee.” That means if you find your adjustment uncomfortable… you don’t owe me for that visit.
At the The Spine Studio, your adjustments are tailor-made exclusively for your needs, and are as unique as a fingerprint. No two people ever receive the exact same adjustment in this office.
Following the procedure, if you have time you’ll rest a bit in our adjusting suite to allow things to “settle in” so to speak . After a brief resting period is over, Dr. Henderson will confirm that a proper adjustment has been made. There’s no “guess work” here – we always make sure that you receive a complete adjustment, and that we did our job properly.
Dr. Henderson also makes this promise to all new patients: After your consultation and exam, if you are not convinced that our office is the right place for you, there will be no charge for your visit that day. So there’s absolutely no risk wasting your time or money when choosing our office.
